ABOUT
My name is Luana Garcia, and I am the founder of PURA Wellness Studio, a private wellness and recovery studio based in Sherman Oaks, California.
I created PURA to be a space where clients feel safe, supported, and truly cared for while working toward their body and wellness goals. My work combines post operative recovery therapy, Brazilian lymphatic drainage, and advanced body sculpting techniques designed to support healing, reduce inflammation, improve body contour, and help clients feel confident in their bodies.
While I am highly specialized in post operative recovery and fibrosis care, I also work extensively with clients who want lymphatic wellness, debloating support, body contouring, and non surgical sculpting treatments. My goal is always to create natural, smooth, and long lasting results while prioritizing safety, education, and long term tissue health.
Beyond hands on treatment, I guide my clients through every stage of their journey. I educate clients on what is safe and appropriate for their body and healing stage, assess compression garments such as fajas to ensure proper support, monitor for signs of complications such as seromas or abnormal swelling, and guide clients to follow up with their surgeon when medical evaluation may be needed.
Client safety, education, and clear communication are always my top priorities.
Education and Specialized Training
I completed my massage therapy training at the Advanced School of Massage Therapy in Thousand Oaks and the Kali Institute in Ventura. License number 100245.
I later specialized in post operative recovery through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. I completed two advanced post operative certifications in Brazil and earned certification in fibrosis treatment.
In addition to post operative training, I completed specialized education and certification in body contouring techniques and Brazilian lymphatic drainage. After extensive study, hands on practice, and working with different body types and recovery stages, I developed my own treatment approach that blends lymphatic therapy, contouring techniques, and advanced modalities to optimize results while supporting natural healing.
